Cherokee Road Renovation, Asheville NC

Before and After

This house was built in the early 1980’s and was in desperate need of an update.  It had suffered through a series of bad renovations, and the new owner wanted to finally give the house the attention it deserved.

The extensive renovations consist of gutting the entire main level, including the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living room.  Large arrays of clerestory windows and new windows throughout brighten the large space and open the view to the forest beyond.  Cypress paneling, new hardwood flooring, and steel handrails round out the details.
